AESPA - DIRTY WORK PREVIEW

Fourth-gen girl group Aespa will be returning this Friday with a brand new single titled, “Dirty Work”. An English version featuring well-known American rapper Flo Milli will feature alongside the original Korean version. The group has heavily marketed this single with a plethora of incredible conceptual visuals as well as a snippet of the song.

I must say, off jump these looks on the group look absolutely terrific. Clad in black and nailing the hip-hop theme in incredible fashion, this seems to have all the makings of a memorable moment for the group. Keeping in mind that this performance video managed to pull in 10-million views in a single day, I think it’s fair to say a lot of people are looking very forward to this.

Now. Let’s review some of the promotional photos that the group has released for this song.

Giselle & Karina side by side here look absolutely deadly. Giselle seems to knock out just about every hair color she tries. I am in full belief that Karina with short hair is the best look she has ever given us.

This is the first time I’ve ever seen Winter with curly hair. She looks absolutely wonderful. I think this particular style on her gives a look that’s fit for the 80’s combined with the looping earrings.

Ningning also a knock out during this promotion. She’s arguably the goofiest member of the group but you would not be able to tell by looking at this photo. She looks SO badass.

This is without a doubt my favorite Karina that I have ever seen. She looks like a legitimate mafia boss here teetering on Malfoy territory. I will go to whatever length for whatever photocards are gonna be made available for this look.

Winter rocks this color extremely well. The red combined with that contact color is brilliant. Holding the guitar too? My goodness.

Giselle has always struck me as an individual who could play the role of an assassin in a movie like John Wick. This photo is no exception.

Staying consistent with the theme of animal print or fur for this set, Ningning also knocks it out of the park. This frosty eyeshadow is doing wonders creating contrast with her eyes.

I’m incredibly excited to see what the group has in store for us with this next single. I think the marketing and production for this particular comeback is top notch. The direction the team took in creating a clear direction and style for Dirty Work has been nothing short of incredible. From the short snippet of the song we received, I think we’re in for their most hip-hop centric song yet. The choreo shown to us in the performance video seems to pay a lot of homage to early 2000’s style of hip-hop dance, which I also think is very consistent with their attire. Sonically, I think the short bit of what we’ve heard is prepping us for a remarkable single.
